Ballymoney U3A Annual Day Trip
Depart: 10 am OCH, BALLYMONEY
Arrive: LIMAVADY - 10.30 am. COFFEE/SCONES at ROE PARK RESORT, LIMAVADY. (Formerly Radisson BLUE) Betty McNerlin, MBE will join us.
Depart: 11.15 am
Arrive: 11.30 am BROIGHTER GOLD, LIMAVADY (Rapeseed oil producers). This is a unique visitor experience, inviting tourists to watch artisans at work, learn about the history of their craft and the heritage of the traditional skills. Produce available for purchase (discount available). PS Working farm – for those wishing to roam, please wear appropriate footwear (farm machinery etc on view).
Arrive: 1.30 pm LUNCH (soup and sandwiches) at THE HOMEPLACE – SEAMUS HEANEY CENTRE, BELLAGHY –
(Tea/coffee at your discretion). Seamus Heaney Home Place: dedicated to the life and work of one of Ireland’s greatest writers. This is an interactive exhibition, packed with personal stories, images and artefacts. (NB: TOUR IS OPTIONAL: Tour £7)

Arrive: 3.30 pm BALLYSCULLION PARK, BELLAGHY (tour of house/gardens finishing with tea coffee and scones)
Two country houses built for the Hervey family, with surrounding grounds and garden, and is close to Lough Beg.
Depart approx. 5 pm
Arrive: OCH approx. 6 pm
OPTIONAL: MEAL AT BROWN TROUT, for those wishing to eat out rather the cook!
